Interpretation

          I would like to interpret an advertisement that has a man with a canoe and he looks like singing in the middle of the "ocean". The ocean is made up of televisions and speakers.


          I interpreted the ad as a wealthy man, " I don't care about this ad, I have more money than him. I can buy more and bigger televisions. I already have those televisions and speakers."


          I interpreted the ad as a person in a poor place, " That picture shows me that they are wasting their money. They should donated their money for the poor people's basic needs instead of buying those televisions."


         I interpreted the ad as an 8 year old kid. " The ad is so cool! I want to be that guy canoeing in televisions and speakers. And I wonder what does it feels like when standing in a canoe in the real ocean."

Creep Nathan Kotylak

Nathan Kotylak is a 17 year-old teenage boy and an athlete that was banned from the National Water Polo Team because of what he did in the Stanley Cup riot in Vancouver. A bystander took a picture of him trying to put fire on the gas tank of a police's car and posted it in to the internet. And the image of him easily spread to the different social media sites. The social media sites were making the situation worst! He accepted some consequences and wrote a long statement, apologizing of what he did.

great white sharks

               Great white sharks are very protected in South Africa but there are fishermen that wants to catch them. By law, if you catch a white shark, you should remove the hook and bring back the shark immediately into the water.
                 Ryan Johnson and Enrico Gennari are Ocean Research scientists. Gennari immediately called the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries but the office is 1/2 mile from the site where the shark catch. Johnson told the fishermen that they are breaking the law because that kind of shark's species is very protected. The bystanders helped Johnson to bring the shark back to the water. They bring back the shark successfully but the scientists did not know if the shark will survive.
               The fishermen started to pack up their things. Johnson noticed that their equipments are designed for capturing large sizes of prey. The  officer is still not in the site so the fishermen got away.

To My Parents,

                  Hi!  my Mom and Dad. Can I go to my friend's house? It's her 15th birthday.

                  She's one of my best friends in my school. You don't wanna make a birthday celebrant sad, right? You will hurt her feelings. If you let me go to her birthday party, she will be happy in her once in a lifetime 15th birthday party. She will never be 15 years old again. Please!

                  Guess what mom? I already cleaned my room and did the household chores. If you let me, I promise, I will always keep my room clean and do the chores weekly. Sorry if I can't stop bugging my younger siblings. For my best friend, i will always take care of them and quit bugging them. Please let me go to her party.

Bangkok to BC: Victimization goes viral on social network

                  I'm really sorry for Janie because of the bad things that happened to her. She is a 16 year- old girl that was raped by a group of five to seven young men. Some people were taking pictures during the rape scene and uploaded it to the internet.     

                   But after all the bad things that happened to her, she stands for herself and  being brave to face other people in  her school. :)

facebook should or should not allowed children under the age of 13?

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said that younger children should be allowed in the site for educational purposes.The Facebook chief technology officer said that they're shutting down Facebook accounts that have fake ages and they don't allow people lying about their ages.They said that they removing 20 000 Facebook accounts everyday because of some Various infractions, including underage users.

For me, Facebook should not allowed people that are underage. It is causing underage users to have lower grades in school. Sometimes, they can accidentally see some inappropriate images and words from other users. Facebook is not so educational.
